The Different Steps to a Solar Site Assessment

1st visit

1. Testing your site with the solar pathfinder.
2. Analyze best placement for solar collectors.
3. Choose the best routes for piping or ducting.
4. Collect energy use billing information.
5. Assessment of current heating system.
6. Pictures are taken of every aspect of the site.
7. First visit generally takes an hour including the
   powerpoint presentation.

We then take all this information and custom design a system to meet your requirements.

2nd visit

1. Presentation about the future costs of energy and the effects your
   current heating system has on the environment.
2. Renewable energy options.
3. Present results of solar site assessment, including:
• Current heating assessment
• Tips on saving energy
• Assessment of potential sun energy
• System recommendation
• Initial investment and return
• Eligibility for government incentives
