The suns energy has unlimited possibilities. There are more than 10,000 homes in the United States that are now entirely powered by solar energy (according to Solar Development). GreenSky specializes in Solar Thermal Water Heating, Solar Forced Air and Solar Radiant Heating.

Solar Electricity

An estimated 200,000 homes in the U.S. use some type of photovoltaic (PV) solar technology (Solar Development).  PV solar panels are used to convert the energy from the sun into electricity. GreenSky uses small PV units to run the fans and pumps on our systems.

Wind

Small wind electric systems are one of the most cost-effective, home-based renewable energy systems. These systems are nonpolluting and can be used for a variety of applications including:

• Pumping water.
• Lowering an electricity bill by 50-90 percent.
• Eliminating the need to extend power lines to remote locations.
• Providing uninterrupted power through utility outages.

Anaerobic Digestion

Anaerobic digestion (AD) is a natural process- the microbiological conversion of organic matter to methane in the absence of oxygen. The decomposition is caused by natural bacterial action in various stages. Anaerobic digesters can be installed on farms to produce heat, electricity, and less polluting fertilizers. GreenSky is working on the development of a system to be used on small farms (400 cows or less).
