About: The Founders

My name is Richard L. Larson and I am the Founder and President of GreenSky Energetics, Inc. As a successful business owner of the thriving Whitewall Tire Co., Inc. (established in 1990 in Manitowoc, WI), I understand commitment. With years of experience in renewable energy and my dedication to the community, I look forward to providing Nature’s Energy Solutions to the people of Eastern Wisconsin. I also promise to conduct all business in an honest and ethical manner with the needs of our customers first.

My name is Andrew Williams and I am the Co-Founder and Environmental Scientist of GreenSky Energetics, Inc. I realized my passion for renewable energy at the start of college. Sparked by learning from some of Wisconsin’s best renewable energy professionals, I acquired a BS degree in Environmental Science at UWGB, with intensive research in solid waste management, solar power and anaerobic digestion. In addition, I supplemented my degree with a Renewable Energy Certificate from Madison Area Technical College and multiple courses from the Midwest Renewable Energy Association.

Passionate about Nature’s Energy Solutions, acutely aware of the looming energy crisis, and deeply concerned about not only the rising cost of fossil fuels, but the effects burning those fuels have on the environment, Richard L. Larson and Andrew Williams set out to make a difference in Eastern Wisconsin.

On their way home from a renewable energy workshop in Rice Lake, WI, Richard and Andrew decided that talking about Nature’s Energy Solutions just wasn't good enough. They needed to start a business that provided Nature’s Energy Solutions- a business that would help relieve our dependence on foreign sources of fossil fuel energy and make for a cleaner environment. And so, on a sunny day in May of 2007, GreenSky Energetics, Inc. was founded.

Currently, GreenSky Energetics offers consultation and solutions for residential and commercial water and space heating. Whether you have a small two-person home, a spa or pool needing many gallons of hot water per day, or a warehouse needing heat in the winter, we can serve you. Next steps include expanding into photovoltaic (PV) solar panels and small-scale wind turbines. Our final stage of growth will be the installation of anaerobic digesters on farms to produce heat and electricity.

Our mission is to provide both a long- and short-term savings for our customers, while helping the environment and reducing our dependence on foreign energy. Our number one goal as a company is to obtain customer satisfaction through integrity and honesty.
