Solar Thermal Water Heating

Utilizing an antifreeze solution pumped through the solar loop - connecting the solar thermal collectors to an insulated water storage tank - heat is transferred through a heat exchanger to the water in the solar storage tank.
The cold water, that normally enters your water heater when you pull hot water, is diverted to this solar storage tank to be heated by the sun. Now, when you draw water from your water heater - instead of cold water entering your water heater - solar heated water is drawn from the solar storage tank, and your water heater will not have to put fire to the water.
